Here comes the hour, dressed in purple and gold, when the Heroes of the Phalanx chant their Oaths for the cause of Restoration. Centuries of war and ruin scarred this Earth with zones of divine deformation known as the Cryptalia. The age of the so-called Great Hybris left behind hundreds of such places, endangering the lives of the Peoples settled in their surroundings. A battalion of great Heroes was then born, masters all in the fateful art of the chant & determined to safeguard the young peace, so bitterly won. By the will of the mortal kingdoms, the Phalanx was ordained as The Council of Echoes – for soon they’d discovered the Cryptalia held far more than perils. An unknown material, source of relentless power, would change their civilizations forever: ECHO.
During those early years, the soft mumble of The Great Arbiter, a delicate chant composed to enforce the truce that ended all sufferings, was still holding strong. In a matter of decades, The Phalanx managed to reduce the danger of the Cryptalia to their minimal expression. A long sigh of relief reigned over centuries, enough time to truly relive happiness, but also to forget a hard learned lesson. Today, with the Fracture of Peace weakening & nearing its end, The Council of Echoes made a decision: A new Phalanx will be called upon & once again it will repel the savage attacks of the Shrieks. Heroes chant the Unbreakable Oath & commit their lives to the cause of Restoration. Every corner rumbling, each hallway filled with the reverberations of valor.
Hello everyone! Some may be reading our words for the first time. Others have walked with us these last months grinding in our Gamified Loyalty Program, preparing themselves for what’s to come. An exciting day has arrived, one we were impatient to enjoy with our Community and everyone willing to join the cause of Restoration. Today, we present to the world our Genesis NFT Collection & the value proposition that we make to gamers worldwide: come have fun with us with an awesome product, accessible for players of all wallet-sizes.
Echoes of Cryptalia has a team of indie developers & passionate gamers, and so we strive for giving value to the players at every opportunity we find – because that’s what we also are. Our convictions towards public community building are the driving force behind our Mint structure, designed to sustain a reasonable playerbase of 3,333 players with full parties for our 3 vs 3, tag team style, and unique combat system. We plan to make our official combat system the heart of Chapter 2 of our Loyalty program, by fully integrating this crucial strategy aspect from our game into a platform that gives us the opportunity to share with everyone of you the plethora of ideas we plan to bring forth. Every detail of this mint structure tries to benefit our early supporters, by providing an accessible yet full of value asset for our Genesis Collection.
Enough forewords. Here we humbly present to you our short and long term plans for our Heroes as we build towards Game Launch, including immediate and future use cases for the Collection.
Genesis Hero Unbreakable Oaths
Each Unique Genesis Hero will be revealed from its Unbreakable Oath.

Use cases
- In early Q2, Genesis Hero Unbreakable Oaths will be turned into the Hero Sworn to each specific NFT. Each Hero possesses unique features that will be fully described in an upcoming article.
- For now, it’s key to understand that Heroes are the main asset of our official game, needed to earn $ECHO in Quests.
- Starting February 20, with the launch of Chapter 2 of our Loyalty Program, NFT Holders will be eligible, in addition to the 1,000,000 $ECHO pool reserved for next season, to an additional 1,000,000 $ECHO pool for victories in our unique 3v3 Heroes combat system. We will first launch inside the Loyalty Program our PvE version at, but we’ll go full PvP mid-season. Thereon, we will also hold tournaments with prizes in $ECHO and a sustainable amount of stablecoins.
- Once a day, from Mint day to the end of Chapter 2 of our Loyalty Program, Holders may visit the Program and collect a Whispered Urn NFT (immediately available for trade) for each Hero they have. Whispered Urns contain 1 random Echoes of Cryptalia playable asset and will be available to open on Game Launch.
- Each Genesis Collection Holder (be them of closed Oaths or Genesis Heroes after opening) is entitled to 3 $ECHO airdrops for each Genesis asset: at 6 months, 9 months and, finally, 1 year after Mint. Exact quantities will be revealed in a subsequent article.
- Looking mid-term, we will integrate our Mercenary system to the game. Through it, Holders may stake Heroes in our Mercenary system. Other players will be able to loan them in a trustless mechanism that will also split the earnings between them.
- Exclusive access to [REDACTED], a special game zone. Specific details on [REDACTED] will be revealed soon.
Whispered Urns
Whispered Urns are magical items. Each Hero can claim a new Whispered Urn every day since the Sale Date and to the release of the Season 2 of Loyalty Program.
Whispered Urns can deliver a wide variety of random rewards.
We’re thrilled with the result of what we believe to be a product with a lot of value: with immediate use cases, like access to the alpha test of our combat system and rewarded with our native token. Soon it will be expanded to include PvP and Tournaments for every grinder heart out there, as we too have an inclination, as gamers, towards competition in well played matches. The daily cumulative rewards through Whispered Urns, also with immediate implementation, reinforces the short term value of the Collection, while a mid-term holding incentive mechanism via airdrop provides solid foundations for the NFT’s Future.
Of course, full access to the game with maxed earning possibilities is the best long-term use case for the Genesis Heroes, which will also grant exclusive access to an awesome feature under construction. The Mercenary System reinforces long-term use cases as they allow Holders with little time to still earn and at the same time they give a chance to players without access to an asset to join the fun, all in a fair and trustless mechanism.
A 9,700 supply sale might seem big at first sight but, in reality, it only represents 3,233 full parties – and we did our best to make them available to wallets every size, while including value mechanisms to further empower them.
In terms of whitelist structure, we propose the following mechanism:
- A number of WL spots will be used to incentivize partner communities & allies to gather gamers around Echoes of Cryptalia. Some of them are already online as you read this!
- The main bulk of the WL spots will be granted to Loyalty Program participants, after confirming they wish to participate in the mint sale. The process for confirmation is simple:
- Win a WL spot associated with your Passport wallet, either by participating in our allies raffles or won through our soon-to-be-announced Loyalty Program mechanism.
- Then, you’ll have to log into our minting platform to confirm that you indeed want to participate in the mint. For that, you’ll have to sign up with Passport. We will then ping the Blockchain. If the eligible wallet contains at least 1 IMX, it will be confirmed as a Whitelist participant.
